Back on April 24th MSSA hosted it’s Annual Meeting at the “Volstead House” Whiskey Bar & Speak Easy in Eagan. MSSA members were given current updates of the Association and the industry, Including a Legal Report by MSSA Counsel Randy Thompson, Legislative Update from Todd Hill, Insurance updates from Jessica Lewis at Corporate Four Insurance and Kevin Urlaub speaking about Health Insurance.
MSSA President Channing Smith presided over the Annual as MSSA Secretary/Treasurer Brian Brehmer presented the current financial status of the MSSA. MSSA Executive Director gave a speech about leveraging relationships and always more important to contribute to a relationship than to take advantage of one.
MSSA members were given the opportunity to for an “Open- Floor” discussion with any concerns in the industry or within the Association. In Closing, President Channing Smith announced and congratulated Ron Feist, Joel Hennen, and Karen Koehnen as members of the MSSA elected each of them to three-year term as Borad Directors.
After the meeting, MSSA members and guests were treated to some amazing adult beverages and pizza. Thank you to all MSSA members, Board Directors and staff for making this a very unforgettable Annual Meeting.
