October 23, 2024 Erik and Laura Ogren and the Patron Points Team hosted industry partners and guests to an open house enjoying refreshments and celebrating 20 past years of success.
In 2004, Erik and Laura leaped into the Loyalty industry not knowing what the future had in store for the two of them and their family. Early adopters of Patron Points, were MSSA Members Jerry and Sandy Charmoli, Katie Fleming and Mark Olson targeting loyal customers, driving foot traffic. Whether offering five cents off a gallon of gas, a free cup of coffee or a free carwash, Patron Points was off to a quick start and one of the first in our industry.
Twenty years later, Patron Points has over 5,000 locations and is one of the only third-party loyalty providers of P+ promotions? Personalization+ (P+) is personalized, incremental loyalty for Tier 3 retailers. P+ provides offers in addition to multi-pack and traditional loyalty within tobacco platforms and security. Stores with high tobacco volume and loyalty gave out an average of 100 Altria P+ discounts each week, saving consumers at those locations nearly $200 during its inception driving foot traffic to retail locations.
Patron Points is proud of the formi discount program negotiating digital coupons through a partnership with national manufacturers providing additional resources and benefits for the consumer while supporting retail initiatives. A true first-class program with Point-of- Sale material boasting the consumer benefits at store level. Execution is the name to the game, after all Retail is Detail!
Patron Points is a total team effort within the organization. In celebrating 20 years of serving the C-store community, the Patron Points team got together for an afternoon of mini golf, lunch, and sharing memories. Each department designed one or two holes in their very own course. Then divided into cross-functional teams to play! The creativity and energy the team brought is truly the perfect tribute to the past 20 years.
